Welcome to The Take Care Collective; a wellness space where individuals are invited to explore the inner depths of their being. Through yoga, movement and meditation, we’re creating a supportive environment that empowers you to take care—mind, body, and spirit.

This winter, we’re transforming STYLE Canada’s boutique into a wellness space for residents and tourists to gather in community. Located in the heart of Niagara-on-the-Lake (right beside Balzac’s!), our classes and series are designed for you to build on yogic foundations, breathwork, and gentle movement to ground into all that nourishes you.

Whether your a beginner or have a consistent movement practice, our classes invite folks of all ages and levels to join.

Journey with us this winter.

The Classes

  • Tuesdays from 10:30 am - 11:30 am
    6-week Series: January 7, 14, 21, 28, February 4, 11

Pilates Fusion is your core-focused, quicker-paced practice that will challenge your strength, stability, and endurance through a fun flow that blends mat pilates, vinyasa and bodyweight exercises. This class is accessible to all levels, but you should expect to sweat a little more than you would in a slower-paced class. The last 20 minutes of class are focused on winding down and stretching it out. You'll leave feeling energized and stronger than ever.

  • Tuesdays from 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm
    6-week Series: January 7, 14, 21, 28, February 4, 11

Experience the foundational essence of yoga, where breath, posture, and alignment come together to promote strength, balance, and inner calm. This class offers a steady-paced sequence of poses designed to improve flexibility and build mindfulness, making it ideal for both beginners and experienced practitioners.

  • Wednesdays from 10:30 - 11:30 am
    5-week Series: January 8, 15, 22, 29, February 5

Harmony flows within. Sound bath meditations are an intentional, traditional healing practice that ebb and flow with the power of sound, frequency and vibration to tune into your creative consciousness, balance the nervous system, and release stress/anxiety. As the waves of sound fill the body, the subtle layers of energy open.

  • Thursdays from 10:30 am - 11:30 am
    6-week Series: January 9, 16, 23, 30, February 6, 13

Borrowing from our favourite elements of vinyasa and yin yoga, this slow-paced, all-levels class is a breath-based, mindful movement practice designed to help you unwind through slow, intentional, and sometimes creative/unstructured movement. Enjoy a full-body flow that will never be the same twice. Set to great playlists and a candlelit atmosphere, this class is meditation in motion --  a mindful flow that invites us to practice slowing down and moving with more awareness, balance, and grace.

  • Saturdays from 9:00 - 10:00 am
    4-week Series: January 18, 25, February 1, 8

Indulge in deep rest with light movement, somatic healing, and moments for inner-reflection. This gentle practice uses supportive props and longer-held postures to create a space for your body and mind to fully release and unwind. Each posture is designed to promote healing, reduce stress, and enhance your natural state of balance. It’s time for mellow mornings.

Meet your Teachers

  • Melaina Gasbarino

SOUND BATH MEDITATIONS + MELLOW MORNINGS

From a young age Melaina has always felt a greater connection to something bigger than herself. From working through healing her inner child and inviting that shy little girl out into this brilliant world, she’s stepped into a place where she feels most alive; inviting you to connect with the inner workings of your soul.

After owning an environmental education company for years, she felt pulled to do ‘something bigger’, and so she became a yoga teacher (200 hr and yoga nidra), energy healer and sound alchemist. She has her Masters of Teaching and is currently obtaining a Somatic Healing Certificate.

Having always lived a unique path, Melaina tunes into the energetics of the Earth to nourish all beings. Her philosophies are rooted in traditional wisdom received from her ancestors, teachers, and innate learnings from the Earth.
